Single Ferrule Hydraulic Male Elbow Connector

Stark 90° hydraulic male elbow, DIN 2353 compliant. Forged 316SS for connecting tube to female ports at a right angle. Ideal for compact hydraulic manifolds and equipment. 24h quote!

DIN 2353 Single Ferrule Hydraulic Male Elbow Fitting

Create a space-saving, 90° connection directly to your equipment ports. The Stark Single Ferrule Hydraulic Male Elbow is manufactured in compliance with DIN 2353 / ISO 8434-1 standards, providing a robust, leak-free transition from a tube line to a female threaded port. Its one-piece forged 316/316L stainless steel body and hardened single ferrule design offer maximum resistance to vibration and hydraulic shock, making it the ideal choice for installations in tight spaces on pumps, motors, and manifolds.

🛠 The Engineering Advantage

  • Maximum Strength with One-Piece Forging: Unlike multi-piece or brazed elbows, our monolithic forged body provides a continuous grain structure through the bend, offering the highest resistance to the pressure spikes and mechanical stresses common in hydraulic systems.
  • Optimized for Compact Layouts: The 90° design allows for immediate directional change of the tubing right at the equipment port, enabling cleaner, tighter tube routing in crowded spaces like hydraulic power units and mobile equipment engine bays.
  • Proven, Standardized Design: By adhering to the globally recognized DIN 2353 / ISO 8434-1standard, our elbows guarantee dimensional interchangeability and performance you can trust for both new system builds and MRO replacements.
  • Molybdenum Disulfide Coated Nuts: To combat galling in high-torque hydraulic applications, all nuts are coated with Molybdenum Disulfide (Moly), a high-pressure solid lubricant that ensures smooth assembly and allows for reliable reassembly.

📌 Targeted Application Support

  • Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs): Ideal for creating clean, right-angled connections from valve block ports to system tubing.
  • Mobile & Heavy Equipment: Provides robust, vibration-resistant 90° connections for hydraulic lines on excavators, tractors, and forestry machinery.
  • Shipbuilding & Offshore: Creates compact, corrosion-resistant pipe runs from equipment ports in tight engine rooms.
  • Industrial Machinery: Connects hydraulic cylinders and motors where space is limited and a 90° turn is required.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: What is the main advantage of using a male elbow?
Its main advantage is system simplification and space-saving. A one-piece forged male elbow eliminates a separate straight connector and a threaded elbow, reducing a potential leak path and creating a much more compact and robust connection directly at the equipment port.
Q2: Are your male elbows positionable?
Our standard male elbows with tapered threads (NPT/BSPT) are not positionable; they tighten to a fixed position. However, we also offer Adjustable Position Male Elbows which use a parallel thread (BSPP/G) with an O-ring seal, allowing you to align the elbow to the desired direction before final tightening. Please contact us for these adjustable options.
Q3: How does the forged body handle the stress of a 90° bend?
The forging process creates a continuous, optimized grain structure that flows through the bend. This makes the elbow inherently stronger and more resistant to pressure and fatigue than an elbow made by welding or casting, which can have weak points at the joint.
Q4: Are your DIN 2353 elbows interchangeable with Parker EO®?
Yes, our fittings are manufactured to be dimensionally compliant with the DIN 2353 / ISO 8434-1 standard, making them interchangeable with other brands that also adhere to this standard, such as the Parker Ermeto (EO/EO-2) series. For critical applications, we always recommend using a consistent set of Stark components.
